Hush Introduces a Mobile Concierge Service: Hush Life

Branching out from traditional financial services, neo-banks started to focus on associated services as well. Still in development, Hush announces a partnership with Generali Concierge Services on launching an innovative concierge service. This start-up relies on an upmarket image strategy aimed at their future customers.

The mobile FinTech Hush is registered in Luxembourg, and includes virtual currencies in their strategy. They have a 10 million euros ICO underway until 16, March. This ICO is intended to finance their launch, but Hush still wanted to highlight their ambitions through already announcing this partnership.

Their premium concierge offer, Hush Life, will be accessible via a chatbot. The users will enjoy convenient features helping them buy tickets for a show or event, organise a trip or sports outings.

This FinTech aims to become a European neo-bank, with a banking approval and Mastercard affiliation for the payment cards they will start to issue in Q2 2018. Their mobile app is scheduled to launch by the end of 2018. This service should include an account (with IBAN), a premium payment card, customised services and insurance offers (based on customers’ needs and investments), a savings account for shared projects, and a wallet for crypto-currencies. Hush will charge 9.90 euros per month.

Comments – Hush bets on premium services, and an ICO

After Morning failed and was rescued by Banque Edel, its founder (Eric Charpentier) started a new, particularly ambitious neo-bank project. And hopes it will benefit from a more flexible and European environment in Luxembourg. For now, Hush needs their ICO to be a success: its closing has already postponed.

Besides typical banking offers, this FinTech intends to propose a wide range of customised services via their mobile app. The premium approach they selected is a way to stand out, and their ongoing development stresses qualitative offers designed to evolve with their community of users (as is the case with Fidor). This also explains why they want to add a concierge service –relevant with building a group of ambassadors (25,000 considered for the first year).

Hush also bets on an open approach towards including new means of payment and crypto-assets. Likewise, UniCredit also presented a mobile subsidiary with a chatbot-based concierge service. Hush aims for a similar goal: strengthen their premium approach through proposing engaging high-end services.
