Mollie strengthens its customer strategy to continue growing in 2023

Mollie, prestataire de services financiers néerlandais, annonce des résultats annuels positifs pour 2023. La société, qui se présente comme l’un des PSP à la plus forte croissance en Europe, défend une stratégie centrée sur le client et l'amélioration constante de l'efficacité de ses services. Des objectifs qui lui ont permis un retour à la rentabilité opérationnelle en mars 2024.

FACTS

  • Mollie has therefore just announced positive annual results for 2023. Its strategy has finally led to high returns and even a return to operating profitability in March 2024.

  • Since 2004, Mollie has provided a payment and financial management platform for businesses of all sizes, with a team of 750 people across Europe.

  • The PSP boasts that over 200,000 businesses currently use its services to increase revenues, reduce costs and manage funds.

  • As a result, Mollie is forecasting net sales of €99 million for 2023, with growth of 36% compared to 2022.

  • Its operating costs have also fallen by 30%, from €179.8 million in 2022 to €126.7 million in 2023.

CHALLENGES

  • Growth driven by the development of new products: These results are presented as the consequence of :

    • the strategy of acquiring new and larger customers,

    • investment in new products such as Mollie Capital,

    • the development of in-store payments,

    • the acceleration of international expansion in France, Germany and the UK.

  • A customer-focused strategy: Mollie has strengthened its customer strategy in 2023 by unifying and expanding its customer operational excellence centre in Maastricht. The PSP also launched Mollie Terminal, an omnichannel solution.

  • Maintaining growth: Mollie now expects to maintain its trajectory over 2024. The signs are green, with a return to operating profitability recorded as early as March.
