Moneo Opting for MoneoPass by Morpho
- Moneo Payment Solutions has selected Morpho e-Documents for its contactless multi-application card MoneoPass by Morpho. This solution responds to the needs expressed by local administrations, universities, companies, transportation networks, etc. and can be applied to a variety of contexts (payments, transportation, access control, subscriptions, restaurants, loyalty, etc.).
- Moneo is already particularly present on campuses (new generation BMS2 cards in 2007). Its new card complies with Calypso transportation dedicated-standard in France as well as in other EU countries; it is also enhanced with new authentication features (PKI).
- Deploying this solution would not require that the existing infrastructures be modified.
- In September 2011, Moneo announced it had been selected to provide 15,000 multiservice MoneoPass cards to the French national archives starting 2012 (prior generation cards with embedded e-purse).
- Morpho (subsidiary of Safran) supplies physical and logical access control solutions to governments, administrations and other private companies. It is composed of three entities: Identification, e-Documents and Detection.
