WorldPay Buys PI Envoy Services
- The international acquirer WorldPay sold by RBS this summer, bought British authorised PI Envoy Services, which specialises in the integration of cash collection methods worldwide. It provides merchants with the possibility to be paid by forty local solutions, and operate from 200 bank accounts from different countries.
- The e-PSP WorldPay also intends to widen its e-commerce service offers. New fraud prevention solutions are also to be added.
- Envoy Services has been the first authorised UK PI in Summer 2009. This purchase underlines WorldPay’s external growth pursuit after its sale to US funds Bain and Advent.
- The cross-border acquirer carries on modernising its acquisition platform. For instance, it renewed its contract with ACI Worldwide, provider of Visa clearing Base II solution.
