manager.one integrates access to Bump network charging points into its multifunction card

manager.one has teamed up with Bump to enhance its multifunction business card with a new feature providing access to a vast network of charging points for electric vehicles. The aim of this integration is to simplify the management of business travel, in particular by facilitating access to electric recharging. This partnership reflects a more general trend in which financial players are stepping up their investments to accelerate the deployment of electric mobility.
FACTS
-
manager.one has therefore announced the launch of its new feature in partnership with Bump.
-
From now on, companies using the business card can take advantage of this feature, which offers access to the largest network of charging points for electric cars.
-
Thanks to the Bump network, more than 300,000 charging points for electric vehicles are accessible in Europe and more than 100,000 in France, representing almost 98% of public charging points, according to the mobility company.
-
The manager.one card complements the Bump Pass, Bump's multi-service recharging card.
CHALLENGES
-
Significant added value for manager.one customers: The company wants to make everyday life even easier for its customers. The use and, above all, the management of cards and expenses is centralised. It also reduces the number of cards used for business travel, which simplifies the day-to-day work of employees in the field. Finally, manager.one customers benefit from the advantages of the Bump solution, namely aggregation with several networks of electrical charging points, thus overcoming the problem of considerable heterogeneity in the field of charging points.
-
Completing its range: Based on Idemia's Card Connect technology, manager.one's multifunctional card solution already combined a number of functionalities, including :
-
the payment card ;
-
the connected card (enabling a business card, link, file or other item to be shared with a telephone using NFC technology);
-
a fuel card compatible with all the petrol stations available in the Visa acceptance network.

MARKET PERSPECTIVE
-
When it comes to mobility, financial players have an important role to play in helping to democratise new uses. There are a growing number of examples of partnerships aimed at facilitating the deployment of electric charging points and easing the transition to electric mobility. This is the case, for example, of the Belgian bank Belfius, which announced last week that it was investing in the accelerated deployment of charging points, in partnership with CenEnergy.
-
In France, Crédit Agricole and Opteven recently formalised the creation of a joint venture called Crédit Agricole Mobility Care Services, with the following objectives:
-
The creation of a player specialising in warranty contracts, car maintenance, etc. ;
-
Develop products tailored to the mass adoption of electric vehicles.
