Long-Term Rental: ALD Partners with AXA
ALD Automotive partners with the insurance company AXA to jointly work on a new all-in-one mobility-focused offer for businesses and individual customers. They will be combining ALD’s expertise when it comes to long-term rentals with AXA non-life insurance, and benefit from the insurer’s distribution network.
The “TOUT EN 1” ALD Automotive / AXA offer is intended for individual customers and businesses (independent workers, small businesses, etc.). It includes a new car with long-term rental and a comprehensive insurance offer.
This offer stresses simpler processes for budget management, for instance, since the monthly instalments include car rental, maintenance, assistance and insurance. This offer is also meant as flexible: all car models and options can be selected or modified throughout the duration of the contract.
The “TOUT EN 1” offer will be sold by AXA’s general agents under the brand ALD Automotive.
Comments – Diversification: ALD adds long-term car rental services
In line with the mobile revolution, prevailing promises from industry players include simple, more flexible offers, with more transparent pricing scales. ALD Automotive partners with AXA so they can add an insurance offer to their set of car rental services to aim for more targets and distribution channels. This all-in-one offer is distributed by AXA through their network of general agents. ALD then proposes a means to attract customer segments they still barely know. This agreement also meets an increasing demand from individual customers and businesses: 65% of the financing offers subscribed at car dealerships actually are car rentals.
Promising partnership for ALD. Société Générale’s subsidiary for mobility-related services relies on partnerships to expand their range of offers. ALD Automotive also strengthened their agreement with Mobeelity, an app for optimising journeys. The idea was to craft a mobility-oriented data collection tool for employees’ business trips. This tool is considered by ALD for their customers, too.
