In short: Yolt definitely ends

While ING surprised the market by announcing the closure of its Yolt aggregator last September, it nevertheless said it wanted to focus on the growth of Yolt Technology Services, its open banking technology platform. Well, finally, ING is also going back on this objective by announcing the gradual phasing out of operations related to this activity.

ING's final decision follows an in-depth analysis by the bank of the remaining part of its service. This concerned Yolt, formerly Yolt Technology Services, and its open business-to-business banking operations.

According to ING, the latter is not likely to reach the scale of activity hoped for by the bank within a reasonable period. Its services will therefore be gradually reduced, with complete closure planned for the end of April 2023.

Yolt's customers have been notified and the bank states that it will continue to fulfil its contractual obligations during this period.

Yolt has 48 employees, including 19 subcontractors.
