Cielo adopts Thales' multi-operator SIM to avoid cashing interruptions

Cielo, one of the major players in payment services in Brazil, is taking a key step in modernizing the connectivity infrastructure of its payment terminals. By adopting the eSIM technology developed by Thales and in line with the GSMA SGP.32 standard, the company intends to strengthen the continuity of payment services in a market where each network interruption can have a direct impact on the revenues of traders.
