M-payment: E.Leclerc, too
- FRANCE – E.Leclerc unveils its in-store m-payment solution, Paiement Flash.
French retailers are increasingly getting involved in mobile payment initiatives: E.Leclerc, Auchan, Intermarché or Casino have all adopted mobile innovations for their points of sale. This tech-savvy approach interestingly relies on their customers’ own mobile devices. E.Leclerc, for its part, has opted for FLASHiZ’s QR-code-based solution.
Amazon keeps eying the mobile market

Unlike most previous launches, and however bank-initiated, these mobile solutions rely on SIM-centric models, allowing banking institution to gain access to huge customer bases. The issue of customer enrolment seems to help remedy such obstacles as revenue sharing, for instance.
Data security in the spotlight
