A new consortium of banks about to issue a stablecoin in dollars
In the current battle of traditional banking players to win the stablecoins market, a new international consortium would have emerged with the ambition of issuing a stablecoin in dollars. This new association would have been formed by BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank and Santander. Three players who were not involved in another consortium recently aiming to launch a stable corner in euros. Other international banks would also be involved.
