M-wallet: Placecast’s White-Label Multifunction Wallet

  • The mobile marketing specialist Placecast presents a new customisable m-wallet platform and associated location-based solution. This white-label offer has been made available to mobile operators, card issuers and retailers.
  • ShopAlert is a mobile app combining location-based commercial offers and m-payment features. ShopAlert Wallet is adapted to all kinds of payments: card, contactless and carrier-billing based.
  • The app also enables its users to search for items or configure specific offers (location, main interests, etc.) and share offers with their Facebook or Twitter “Friends”.
  • In addition, the wallet allows cardholders to store their reward cards, as well as their transportation or concert tickets.

  • Placecast, initially focusing on location-based marketing, has just announced that its while-label platform has already convinced nearly ten million users. ShopAlerts also benefits from a wide merchant network, with over 130 partners (including Starbucks, L’Oréal, Subway, or Telefónica O2 for example).
  • Placecast presents a scalable mobile wallet to suit its merchant users’ needs: they may for instance choose to link their specially crafted payment offers or loyalty programmes to ShopAlert.
  • Placecast proposes a global B2B marketing service offering, encompassing payment, to create traffic at merchants and secure the loyalty of their customers.
