Data Storage with La BRED and Morpho
- Through its subsidiary VIALINK, BRED Banque Populaire, opts for Morpho (Safran group) to provide its (individual and corporate) customers with cryptographic devices and help them secure their Ipab services: an online portal designed to receive and store documents sent by banks, insurances, invoices, etc. and enable strong authentication. A secure electronic vault is also proposed (in different formats).
- After having encountered a certain success in BtoB contexts (mostly, online relations between banks and companies), these solutions have been rethought to suit the needs of individual customers too: 3DS payments and sensitive banking operations, digital balance sheets, contracts and cheques, digital signatures, etc. Morpho ypsID USB keys will be distributed to allow for strong authentication and signature through (online or mobile) digital certificates without requiring that software be installed on the workstations.
- Initially designed for large accounts, these solutions might reassure individual customers and attract their attention as they could make administrative procedures easier for them too (storage options, digital signature and dematerialised processes).
- The environmentally friend nature of this solution may also be of interest for customers.
