Ingenico Developing an Interactive Messaging System
- Ingenico Turkey has launched an interactive messaging device for IsBank to turn POS terminals into bidirectional bank/merchant meant to communicate.
- This new system enables the bank to start real-time targeted marketing and ordering operations: notifications, promotional offers, investigations, videos.
- IsBank first used this solution in a marketing campaign to reward merchants and give them a laptop. Useful pieces of information, such as payment facilities, are displayed on screen and on the payment receipt.
- A signal sounds until the merchant has read his message: the latter can respond using the payment terminal.
- This new interactive messaging system allows IsBank to receive feedbacks; it is quicker, more efficient and less expensive (optimisation of this communication channel only).
- Acquiring players have turned Turkey into an innovating market, this is for instance shown by several recent mobile payment partnerships: Garanti Bank and Avea, Asya and Watchdata, Yapi Kredi and Turkcell, etc.
- Card services are now growing commonplace and marketing offers are real means to make the difference.
