Itautec Launches 3D Image Projecting ATM
- Brazil-based manufacturer Itautec has just presented its most recent ATM model, Adattis Touchless 3D, which allows for secure transactions through the use of 3D images.
- All transactions are contactless and only contactless cards can be used: the user interface is adapted as the machine recognises the customers’ gestures. The user makes his choices without even touching the screen.
- This technology makes it possible to decrease the number of included equipment and enhance transaction security as these is no more keypad.
- The manufacturer also presented a Face Tracking technology that recognises if the person at the ATM has changed or left, to end the session and safeguard customer information.
- ATM manufacturers now invest in the development of ergonomic and securing technologies (lie detectors for Sberbank, biometric recognition solutions, etc.). The new technology proposed by Itautec can help limit the need for equipment and reduce maintenance cost as well as the risk of identity usurpation.
