Ukash Launches UkashOut MasterCard
- The e-payment international company, Ukash, has just launched the UkashOut MasterCard prepaid card.
- The cardholder can reload it using Ukash coupons available in three different currencies (pounds, US dollars and euros). These coupons can be purchased from a network of over 420,000 points of sales worldwide.
- This new prepaid card enables its cardholders to withdraw cash from any ATM in the MasterCard network.
- Ukash’s primary activity is to allow the consumers to pay on the Internet using cash (conversion of physical currencies into Ukash coupons). This new card is in line with the project they launched last year, Ukash PayOut, enabling consumers to convert their virtual currencies into Ukash coupons.
- The on-line and off-line prepaid market is now considered of interest by several international players. For instance, in 2008, PayPal launched the PayPal Top Up card in the UK and, in so doing, increased its off-line visibility and attracted new customers who did not have a PayPal account.
