Self Service Banking: Banknotes Recycling ATMs in Turkey
- The Chinese company, GRGCBanking announced it signed a 35 million dollars contract with one of the main Turkish banks, Ziraat Banksai, whereby, it will supply and implant banknote recycling ATMs in Turkey.
- In line with this contract, GRGCBanking will provide H8N model enabling customer merchants to deposit banknotes directly in the ATM and recycle them for cash withdrawals.
- Cash recycling enables the banks to reduce cash management costs: it is a major issue for these players. Manufacturers now develop new ATMs responding to banks’ requirements for cash management. Transoft International recently added a module to its cash management solution, OptiCash, to calculate the provisional amount of banknote collection and determine the number of available banknotes for each category.
