PayPal and Discover Propose Announce New Solution
- Discover Card partners PayPal and announces official launch of its P2P payment solution: Money Messenger.
- The service provided by Discover enables the customers to minimise the number of procedures required to transfer funds, for free. He specifies the e-mail or phone number of the recipient to send him the desired amount.
- Discover cardholders do not need to have a PayPal account to send funds but receivers must have one to use this service. Also, the sender receives a Cashback Bonus® for each transaction, to be used on his Discover card.
- To challenge the solutions designed by Money Send (MasterCard), Visa Money Transfer or the new American Express offer Serve, Discover Card counts on the easiness of use (the sender does not need a Discover card) as well as on a significant partnership with PayPal enabling them to propose a secure “one click” payment offer.
- As it relies on the leader in online payments, Discover benefits form an immediately available solution which is also reliable. This partnership also provides PayPal with a new development channel for its activity which further enhances its visibility.
- Unlike Serve proposed by American Express which enables both P2P and online payments, Money Messenger is only positioned on P2P payments.
