GlobalCollect authorised PI
- GlobalCollect e-PSP became an authorised Payment Institution in the Netherlands. Its offer is designed for e-merchants and integrates acceptance of a large range of means of payment likely to be proposed to the Internet user. Among these, card and prepaid money, but also direct debits and deferred transfers in real time. In addition to the traditional Internet acquisition management and fraud prevention services, it also proposes fund transfers.
- GlobalCollect has a peculiar business model. In fact it includes merchant websites' payment collection and funds centralisation. To this respect, it fits in the frame of the PSD and was compelled to become an authorised PI.
- GlobalCollect started as an online technical and acceptance operator and can now take advantage of its PI authorisation to enter new markets: money transfers and card acquisitions.
