New stage in the evolution of payment reform

The Parliament and the European European Council have concluded a new agreement on the payment services sector. The latter concerns the Payment Services Regulation (PSR) and the Third Payment Services Directive (PSD3). It introduces unprecedented anti-fraud protection, a requirement for increased transparency of costs, rebalanced competition and better access to cash, in an approach that strengthens the resilience and security of payments at European level.
