Lloyds probes quantum to track down financial crime

Lloyds Banking Group led, alongsideIBM, a nine-month experiment to explore the potential of quantum computing in the fight against financial crime. The objective is to determine the extent to which these emerging technologies could eventually enrich existing detection devices based on artificial intelligence (AI) and analysis of traditional data, in particular to identify complex networks of financial mules.
