Irish banks wear their own personal payment solution

While an alliance was finally found between the two main players in the harmonisation of payments in Europe, EPI and EuroPA, Irish banks, which are not affected by the deployment of Wero, are currently promoting a local initiative by announcing the upcoming launch of their own mobile payment solution between individuals. This announcement is led by the Banking & Payments Federation Ireland (BPFI), the spokesperson for banks and payments in Ireland, and the specialist in electronic payment Nexi.
