- To use this service, merchants must have their cash collection devices equipped with Proximiant NFC communication tools. Payers, with NFC-compatible mobile phones should install the Proximiant app, available for free in Android and iOS. They bring their phone closer to the POS device to start data transmission and receive a digital copy of their receipt. If they do not have an equipped cell phone, Proximiant tags are also available for free.
