Mobile Cash Collection: LightSpeed for iPad
- LightSpeed, specializing in app development for Apple platforms, launches LightSpeed for iPad designed for the retail market. This app enables payments, customisation, CRM and even stock management using the tablet.
- The Show & Tell feature allows the retailer to access thorough descriptions (including several views of the product). Transactions can be made using the iPad, with a mag-stripe card and through signature-based validation.
- Proposed options include: invoices creation, barcode scanning, (on- or off-site) on the fly creation of customer profiles, e-mailed receipts, wireless printing, activation and management of loyalty cards as well as stocks management and provisioning, etc.
- LightSpeed can be downloaded for free on iTunes. It is compatible with Socket Bluetooth barcode reader, iDynamo card reader and Ingenico i6580 POS terminal.
- LightSpeed relies on added value services to enhance customer experience in retail niche sectors (such as luxury).
