- In India, Corporation Bank has launched a new nomadic ATM solution. The device installed in a van will stop at scheduled hours along a predefined route.
- The Internet-connected van will also display short videos dealing with outstanding financial industry news and initiatives in favour of customers’ access to banking services. The dedicated team will be assisting customers throughout their account opening and loan application procedures.
- The Indian ATM park is in progression (29% increase between 2010 and 2011 according to the figures issued in April by the National Payments Corporation of India). Yet, there is much left to work on today to improve customers’ access to financial services.
