M-commerce: Official Opening of Buyster Service with RueDuCommerce
- On 13 September 2011, Orange, SFR and Bouygues Telecom have officially launched their m payment solution Buyster in France. Buyster intends to revolutionise the m commerce sector and become an essential mobile and online payment player.
- In a press release published on 8 September, Buyster already announced forthcoming partnerships with several e-commerce websites. It is presented as a free, secure and convenient solution.
- The e-payment service has eventually been opened in partnership with RueDuCommerce. On this occasion, and until 9 October, a special offer is proposed: 10 euros redeem for 80 euros purchased.
- In order to use this service, the customer has to register on the e-merchant’s website and provide his bank card details and mobile phone number for future purchase. These two numbers are then connected. He will be able to validate all other orders through entering his mobile phone number and authenticating with a 6-digits confidential code. He then enters the OTP (sent by SMS) for final validation of his payment.
- On the occasion of this opening, Buyster has chosen to propose a commercial offer with its very first official acceptance website RueDuCommerce. The customer approach intends to be reassuring, Buyster insists on the PI authorisation it has been granted by the Banque de France. The service also commits to protect its customers against spam campaigns and penetrations.
- Buyster is now developing partnerships with several e-commerce players: PSPs, e-commerce platforms, vendors, mobile and Web agencies, etc. its aims at developing its offer as far as possible and bets on innovation.
