Partnership between Diebold and SafenSoft
- Diebold partners Russia-based SafenSoft, which specialises in the development of security solutions for ATMs and other unattended devices. This agreement will first concern Russia and Ukraine.
- SafenSoft’s TPSecure solution was first designed to secure self-service automatons (ATMs, POS, eVoting machines, etc.) and prevent unauthorised transactions (profile management, session hijacking avoidance, etc.) as well as device compromising.
- According to SafenSoft, several Russian banks have already opted for this solution.
- This partnership only covers two countries for now, but, should later on be extended to other Eastern European countries and other geographical areas.
- It will enable SafenSoft, to reach a larger number of banking customers equipped with Diebold ATMs.
- For Diebold, this security enhancement responds to the increasing number of attacks spotted in Russia (Trojan horses).
