Fenua’Orama Launches Customisable Card for Women

  • The Polynesian magazine Fenua’Orama and American Express have launched a new card designed for women.
  • The cardholders can choose from four proposed visuals: Fashion (fuchsia coulor), Polynésienne (hibiscus), Active (leather organiser) and Zen (flowers and starlit night).
  • A loyalty programme is associated with this card: free subscription to Fenua’Orama magazine, four Papeete-Los Angeles-Papeete flights for the price of three, VIP access to private events, deals and discounts with partner stores, loyalty points convertible into purchase vouchers, etc.
  • This is the very first bank card of this kind in Polynesia. Fenua’Orama follows the initiatives of large banking players, including in Metropolitan France, which decided to adapt their strategy to their consumers’ request for customised offers.
  • On the whole, banks have confirmed their interest in associating customised visuals and affinity contents through a large number of initiatives.
  • Beyond the simple visual, some banks even propose entirely customised packages. In 2010, BRED, in partnership with MasterCard, launched an affinity card offer called “BRED & moi” enabling the cardholder to choose from a selection of visuals, insurances and payment options.
