UK Payments Council Getting Nationwide Standard on P2P Transfers ready
- The UK Payments Council is getting ready to roll out an industry-wide mobile P2P transfer service based on bank account holders' mobile phone numbers.
- Their service should be made available by spring 2014. For now, it involves eight banking institutions, covering roughly 90% of all current accounts nationwide.
