MasterCard Launches PayPass Wallet Services
- MasterCard launches a mobile contactless payment service called PayPass Wallet for iOS and Android. Available in the US, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia as from the third quarter of 2012, this service is expected to be proposed on other markets at a later date.
- Among the available features PayPass API allows its partners to create a link between their own wallets and the PayPass network to accept MasterCard payments.
