The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) takes power
The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), regulator and supervisor of the EU financial markets, has just welcomed the decision of the European Commission in the framework of a legislative proposal concerning the strengthening of its powers in order to impose it as a central regulator to frame cryptoactive platforms and harmonise regulation in Europe.
