The Council of the European Union ends the year by validating the Digital Euro
In a recent press release, the European Commission clarified its ambitions for the adoption of theDigital Euro. It relies in particular on work with the Council and the European Parliament to adopt the digital euro while strengthening the role of cash, despite opposition.
