Alipay authorizes delegation of purchase to IA agents on Taobao

The Chinese payment giant Alipay is taking a decisive step in the development of agent trade by allowing its users to delegate the purchase act to artificial intelligence. Integrated with the Taobao e-commerce platform, this feature called Alipay AI Pay transforms the shopping assistant into a real financial agent able to monitor prices and execute transactions independently on behalf of the consumer.
