- PayPal and the telecom operator Softbank have partnered to create a new Joint Venture, PayPal Japan, designed to ensure their partaking in the evolution of digital payments in Japan.
- In line with this announcement, the two players also announced the forthcoming roll out of PayPal Here in Japan.
